Basic Dealer's Information

Dealers can showcase their creativity and sell handmade products at designated booths during Dolpa. Dealer's Booths will be in located in the Anaheim Marriot Grand Ballroom. The talented artisans gathered at the Dealer's Market will be brimming with imagination!

Dealer’s Terms and Conditions

To ensure that Dolpa is an enjoyable experience for all dealers and attendees, we request for everyone to follow our established rules and regulations. Official communication will be handled by the dealer’s listed contact.

Dealer's Terms

1. Dealer's Conditions

   • Please obtain a California Seller's Permit and bring it with you to the venue.
   • Please list a contact who will be able to communicate with us until the end of the event.
   • The dealer's listed contact must be a legal adult over the age of 20.
   • In the case of emergency please list an American telephone number. Please inform us if you do not reside in the United States or will be out of the country for an extended period.
   • Dealers need to communicate with us in English.
   • VOLKS USA, INC. reserves the right to change and modify the Event Policies without prior notice. Therefore, dealers must check the policies before the event.

2. Regarding Application and Registration

   • Submitting applications does not imply to guarantee a dealer booth.
   • If we receive a large number dealer applications, we may need to conduct a lottery.
   • Please contact us immediately to request any changes on dealer’s applications.
   • One person cannot be the listed contact for multiple dealer booths.
   • Name changes, transfers etc. will not be accepted after the application has been submitted. Buying, selling, and trading of dealer's participation rights is strictly prohibited.
   • Due to limited space, we need to limit the amount reservations for “Basic” and “Additional” sets.
   • Dealers who do not comply with our “Event Policies” and “Terms and Conditions” may have their dealer's participation rights revoked or be requested to leave on the day of the event. In addition, dealers who do not comply with our rules may be barred from participating in our future events.

3. Cancellations, Refunds, Missing Items

   • Cancellations of dealer booths before the payment due will be eligible for a 50% refund. Please note that refunds for cancellations after the payment due will not be honored.
   • In the case that we need to cancel a dealer's booth due to company or venue reasons, we will issue refunds for the full amount subtracting transaction fees.
   • Dealers who do not comply with the above rules will not be eligible for refunds.
   • Lost dealer’s badges can be reissued for an additional charge.

Sales Policies

1. Regarding Displays

   • There are some items that are not allowed. Please read the following rules regarding our display policies.
   • Staff may request dealers to remove items if they are deemed inappropriate without prior notice on the day of the event.
   • Please inform our staff if you find a dealer having items that are not allowed in the venue.

2. Copyright Infringement and Counterfeit Policies

   • VOLKS USA prohibits the sales of counterfeits and items that violate protected copyrights.
   • Prohibited items include: unlicensed items, counterfeit items, recast dolls, Non-VOLKS resin BJD, and Non-VOLKS soft vinyl dolls over 27cm tall, inflammatory items targeting specific individuals or organizations.

3. Prohibited Items and Services

   • Adult products such as: pornography or items with sexual connotations or depictions.
   • Consumable Food and Beverages.
   • Weapons, dangerous goods, poisons, explosives and etc.
   • Specific services regarding bodies such as: Tattoos, face painting, piercing and etc.
   • Paid games such as: Carnival games, gambling, lotteries and paid raffles.

Display Policies

1. Regarding Table Use

   • Dealer's must keep all their personal belongings (exhibit items/personal items) on or below their reserved table.
   • Please do not add chairs to your dealer table. Additional chairs that were not requested on the original dealer application will not be permitted.
   • Please try to solve any problems between dealers without staff intervention. If a resolution cannot be reached, please notify our staff immediately.

2. Regarding Dealer’s Displays

   • Displays that feature items that are for “exhibit only” or “not for sale”, please have a showcard displayed next to the item to avoid confusion.
   • We request that displays have a maximum height of 7 feet from the floor. Please refrain from having displays that are unstable to avoid risk of collapse or falling over.
   • Dealers cannot hang any objects on the walls of the venue. The dealer agrees to any repair costs to the facility for any damaged caused.
   • Staff may request dealers to remove displays if they are deemed inappropriate without prior notice on the day of the event.

3. Prohibited Displays and Advertising Methods

   • Weapons, dangerous goods, explosives, poisons, etc.
   • Displays that utilize fire such as candles, fragrances, wax warmers etc.
   • Adult products such as: pornography or items with sexual connotations or depictions.
   • Music Players, speakers, radios, loudspeakers etc.
   • Other: Helium Balloons, food and drink, industrial machinery etc.

Request to Participating Dealers

Please be aware that our staff will be taking pictures and video for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by VOLKS USA, INC. and its representatives on the day of the event. There will be cases where dealer's booths, people, exhibits etc. will be visible in pictures and video.

Staff will ask individual permission when taking pictures or video of specific dealer's booths and exhibits. We thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.
