Booth Information

1. Dealer's Conditions

   • Please obtain a California Seller's Permit and bring it (or a copy of it) with you to the venue.
   • Provide us with a main contact that will be able to communicate with us until the end of the event.
   • The dealer's main contact must be a legal adult over the age of 20.
   • Dealers need to communicate with us in English.
   • In the case of emergency please list an American telephone number. Please inform us if you do not reside in the United States or will be out of the country for an extended period.
   • Dealers must check the policies before the event. VOLKS USA, INC. reserves the right to change and modify the Event Policies without prior notice.
   • Any damage caused to the venue will be the responsibility of the dealer, who agrees to cover all associated repair costs.
   • Proxy selling/brokers are not permitted.

2. Application Guidelines

   • Applying does not guarantee you a dealer booth.
   • To request any corrections to your application, please contact us immediately. Name changes, transfers etc. will not be accepted after applications have closed.
   • Individuals cannot be the same main contact for multiple booths.
   • Buying, selling, or trading dealer participation rights is strictly prohibited.
   • Due to limited venue space, we may need to limit the amount of available paid add-ons.
   • Dealers who fail to comply with our event policies and terms and conditions may have their participation rights revoked and asked to leave the event. Dealers who violate the rules may also be barred from future events conducted by VOLKS.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

   • Cancellation requests before the payment deadline may be eligible for a refund. Requests after the payment deadline may not be accepted.
   • Cancellations by VOLKS USA or the venue will be refunded in full.
   • Dealers who do not comply with the above rules may not be eligible for any refunds.

1. Copyright Infringement and Counterfeits

   • VOLKS USA prohibits the sales of counterfeits and items that violate protected copyrights.

2. Prohibited Items, Services, and Etc.

   • Recast/counterfeit dolls
   • Non-VOLKS resin BJD, and Non-VOLKS soft vinyl dolls over 27cm tall.
   • Merchandise featuring targeted harassment, hate speech, or defamatory content against any individual or organization.
   • Adult products such as pornography or items with sexual connotations or depictions.
   • Products using generated imagery, or unauthorized artwork created by someone else.
   • 3D printed items using third-party digital files or open-source designs not created by the dealer This includes files that were purchased with commercial production licenses. (e.g., from Thingiverse, Etsy, Cults3D).
   • Resold, wholesale, or drop-shipped goods. (Drop shipped items such as: jewelry, factory crochet, etc.)
   • Consumable Food and Beverages.
   • Weapons, dangerous goods, poisons, explosives and etc.
   • On-site services performed directly on human bodies such as: Tattoos, face painting, make-up application, piercing and etc.
   • Intangible goods or services. (Psychics, consultations, etc.)
   • Business recruitment, enlistment, direct sales network marketing, etc.
   • Paid games of chance with no guaranteed reward such as carnival games, gambling, lotteries, and raffles. (Grab bags and gachapon are allowed since players always receive an item.)

1. Regarding Table Use

   • Dealers must keep all their personal belongings (exhibit items/personal items) on or below their reserved table.
   • Please do not add chairs to your dealer table. Additional chairs that were not requested on the original dealer application will not be permitted.
   • Dealers are expected to resolve any issues with other dealers amongst themselves. If a resolution cannot be reached, please notify our staff immediately.

2. Regarding Dealer’s Displays

   • Displays featuring items marked “exhibit only” or “not for sale” must include a clearly visible show card next to the item to avoid confusion.
   • Displays should not exceed a maximum height of 7ft/213cm from the floor. All displays must be stable to prevent the risk of collapse or tipping.
   • Dealers are not permitted to hang anything on the venue walls.
   • Staff may request dealers to remove displays if they are deemed inappropriate on the day of the event without prior notice.

3. Prohibited Displays and Advertising Methods

   • Weapons, dangerous goods, explosives, poisons, etc.
   • Displays that utilize fire such as candles, fragrances, wax warmers etc.
   • Adult products such as: pornography or items with sexual connotations or depictions.
   • Music Players, speakers, radios, loudspeakers etc.
   • Other: Helium Balloons, giving away food and drink, industrial machinery etc.
